OLG CHARITABLE GAMING CENTRE
In April, 2025, the Kennedy Road Gaming Centre held a Volunteer Appreciation Event which was enjoyed by several of our chorus members, (See photo on "Latest News" page.)
The funds we have received from volunteering at the Kennedy Road Gaming Centre have allowed us not only to purchase items for our own organization but also to give substantial Christmas donations to several worthwhile causes again this year, including Neighbourlink North York, North York Harvest Food Bank, Salvation Army Toronto, and North York Women's Shelter.
Local charitable gaming centres have raised over $90 million for charities and non-profit groups over the past year alone. If you belong to a charitable or non-profit organization looking for new fundraising opportunities, take a look at this link and consider volunteering at one of Ontario's Charitable Gaming Centres for a few hours a month in return for a share of their proceeds. https://www.globalheroes.com/successful-fundraising-with.../

Rhonda Mandelzys: 416-655-2644,
The Toronto Accolades had a great coaching day with Amy Patterson in early September. It was the first time we had been coached by Amy, a talented member of the barbershop world who juggles being a member of a couple of different choruses and award winning quartets as well as being Associate Director of A Cappella Showcase and a singing judge. It was an enjoyable and highly profitable day, and we hope to have many more opportunities to work with Amy in the future.
To put the icing on the cake, we took a short break from coaching to welcome three new members into our chorus. We are thrilled to have Carla (bass), Kat (tenor) and Melissa (lead) add their voices and talents to the Toronto Accolades. Welcome!
