The Toronto Accolades love to perform! They are sometimes asked to perform at a walkathon or other outdoor charitable event in the summer. In the winter, smaller groups from the chorus are often engaged to go carolling from store to store. The chorus also performs for social clubs, retirement residences, and community and charitable organizations throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
The Toronto Accolades enjoy a number of extra special performance opportunities. Every year or two they stage a chorus show. In 2009, the chorus gave a winter concert at St. Andrew’s United Church on Bloor St. near Yonge. Our latest chorus show, The Magic of Song, took place in April, 2011, before an almost sold out audience at Crescent School on Bayview near Lawrence. And, of course, the chorus competes in Harmony Inc.’s Area 3 Contest and Convention every May for the opportunity to appear on the International stage in November. They were thrilled to qualify for Internationals again in their 2011 Area Contest, and competed in Hershey, Pennsylvania in the fall of 2011.

The Toronto Accolades chorus and its two quartets, Spellbound and Ricochet, will be competing at AC&C in Batavia, New York, in early May. The quartet contest will take place on Friday, May 4, and the chorus contest will take place on Saturday, May 5.
