Harmony, Inc. is an international, non-profit organization whose purpose is to empower all women through education, friendship and a cappella singing in the barbershop style.
Area 3 incorporates the area south of Highway 401 in Ontario from Oshawa to Port Dover as well as the states of New York, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Ohio east of Route 77.

With over 30,000 members in more than 820 chapters in the United States and Canada, The Barbershop Harmony Society is the world's largest all-male singing society.
Sing Canada Harmony is a non-profit organization established in Canada in 2008 to encourage youth interested in the art of 4-part a cappella harmony singing. Scholarships are made available for young people to pursue training opportunities at Harmony Explosion Camps and other educational events presented by barbershop organizations. Gift donations are invested and the income earned is used to fulfill Sing Canada Harmony’s mission to support vocal music in Canadian schools and communities.
The North York Women’s Shelter, the Accolades’ chosen charity for 2010-2011, has been providing refuge, support and opportunity for abused women and their children since 1984. Violence against women is an ongoing social problem. In fact, between 3 and 6 women in Ontario are murdered every month by their current or former male partner. The Toronto Accolades chorus and its two quartets, Spellbound and Ricochet, will be competing at AC&C in Batavia, New York, in early May. The quartet contest will take place on Friday, May 4, and the chorus contest will take place on Saturday, May 5.

Discover the joy of singing a cappella harmony by coming out to one of our rehearsals, held Thursday evenings from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Earl Bales Community Centre, located at Bathurst and Sheppard.
